Manasi Rachh was born on 11th May 1984. And she was brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Shobhana Rachh. The actress did her schooling from Little Angel’s High School Maharashtra. This 36-years-old actress finished her Bachelors, in Mass Media, from Wilson College. Then, she decided to improve her acting skills. Since she was a young child, Manasi has been creatively inclined. Manasi is passionate about traveling, reading, dancing, painting, and writing.

Career

This Indian actress got her first break in Manav Kaul’s Aise Kehte Hain, a musical play. Manasi, in this play, played the role of a young Sardar boy. The viewers praised her for her performance. The Indian actress has appeared in many roles on TV, web series, and films, since then. Manav Kaul’s Bali aur Shambu was her next performance. She played the role of Titli, there.

Manasi starred in many famous commercials for different brands too. However, she always wanted to return to proper acting roles. And she starred in Rabindranath Tagore’s Walking to the Sun too. She earned critical acclaim and immense recognition.

In 2016, she appeared on TV in 24 Season 2. Amal and Confessions are her other projects. Manasi appeared in Confessions, as a wicked mother. She has also assisted in ad films. On Epic TV, she was a TV show anchor, in Indian Martial Arts- Ek Itihaas. She featured in films like Chalie Kay Chakkar Mein and Khaatti Meethi Setting. And in season 2 of the Indian TV series 24, she played Maddy.

Manasi worked in a web series called It is Not That Simple, recently. And Verve online magazine also featured her in 2011 and 2010.

Achievements

In 2011, Manasi’s big break came, when she portrayed the role of the fierce Neha, in Mujhse Fraaanadship Karoge. This performance made Director Karan Johar notice her talent. So, he auditioned her for the role of Shruti Pathak. And Manasi won the role, alongside other debutants, like Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan in Student of the year. Manasi continues to act in plays and films, on TV and on the big screen.
